Gold Creek VR will leverageThe UnrealReader node which connects Nuke to the Unreal Editor using the Nuke Server plug-in. UnrealReader incorporates Unreal Engine 5’s Movie Render Queue system to provide an interactive compositing-oriented workflow directly inside the Nuke toolset, for an unprecedented level of creative control. Nuke's powerful toolset combined with Unreal Engine 5’s real-time rendering capabilities will be used to create stunning visuals that redefine viewer engagement by offering a truly exciting cinematic experience.

EPIC MEGAGRANT - THROWDOWN
Epic Games has selected the upcoming interactive feature film project THROWDOWN to receive an EPIC MEGAGRANT. The project is directed by and starring James Markham Hall, Jr. and will be delivered at 8K resolution in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Gold Creek VR recently produced THROWDOWN TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE: VOLUME 1 presented by The Visual Effects Society, showcasing the state-of-the-art virtual production filmmaking tools and techniques used to bring THROWDOWN to life with the power of Unreal Engine. The project is sponsored by innovative companies including Epic Games, Blackmagic Design, Zeiss, Ncam, Kessler, Xsens, Reallusion, Boris FX, Puget Systems, IndiPro, Dolby, THX, Zoom, Leia Inc., Digital Dive, Mercuna, Digital Sputnik, The Camera Division and more.
INTRODUCING 3D REVIEW - POWERED BY DOLBY
Gold Creek VR is pleased to announce the launch of the WORLD'S FIRST STEREOSCOPIC 3D PRODUCT REVIEW SERIES! 3D REVIEW highlights innovative technology products and is captured natively in Stereoscopic 3D with virtual environments rendered using the power of Unreal Engine 4. The series is released in 8K 3D 360/VR and features a Dolby Atmos Immersive 3D audio mix. Gold Creek VR spent two months working closely with with Dolby to establish an 8K ATMOS WORKFLOW as their toolset at the time did not support 8K. 3D Review is distributed through the Gold Creek VR verified YouTube partner channel Content Monsters and will soon become available on Premium VR headsets as well as Stereoscopic 3D enabled mobile device platforms.
HISTORIC TREASURES OF THE NATIONAL PARKS LAUNCH
In October 2017 Gold Creek VR treated "Scotty's Castle Weekend" attendees at Death Valley National Park to a VR Sneak Peek, showcasing the pilot episode of their new VR series "Historic Treasures of the National Parks." The pilot episode focuses on "Scotty's Castle" a popular historic landmark at Death Valley National Park that was damaged during a flash flood in 2015.
Produced in association with Death Valley National Park and sponsored by the Death Valley Conservancy, "Scotty's Castle" takes visitors on a virtual tour of this historic landmark with a fascinating story.
The pilot episode of "Historic Treasures of the National Parks" was launched exclusively on the
VeeR VR platform. This strategic partnership between VeeR and Gold Creek VR allows viewers from across the globe to experience "Scotty's Castle" in Virtual Reality, while discovering the rich history of Death Valley National Park landmark. Additionally VeeR has featured Gold Creek VR in a Creator Story on their VeeR VR BLOG.

Daydream is a mobile VR platform created by Google that recently acknowledged the high quality cinematic historical works of Gold Creek VR by featuring "American Ghost Towns: Death Valley Junction" on their MAIN PAGE. GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS - AMERICAN GHOST TOWNS
Gold Creek VR has been working with Google VR on a number of projects. Their award winning VR series “American Ghost Towns” has been adapted for the Educational Virtual Reality platform GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS. The Google Expeditions App allows teachers to take students on VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS and has been used by over 1 MILLION students internationally in its first year. In 2017 Google Expeditions featured the American Ghost Towns: Goldfield Expedition as one of seven pieces selected for presentation at the 2017 Bett Educational Conference in London.
NAB SHOW 2017 VR/AR PAVILLION PANEL - PRESENTED BY DELL
NAB SHOW 2017 was an incredibly busy event for Gold Creek VR. Leading 360/VR software company Mettle invited James Markham Hall, Jr. to give his "Keys to Creating Great 360/VR" presentation at the Mettle booth. Hall showcased advanced post-production techniques from his VR series "American Ghost Towns" and "Historic Treasures of the National Parks" utilizing Mettle Skybox Studio in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. James was also invited to the VR/AR PAVILLION MAIN STAGE PANEL presented by DELL with Mettle Co-Founder Chris Bobotis and RVLVR founder Nick Bicanic. James shared his experiences in creating cinematic 360/VR series, provided insight on the future of VR and engaged with VR filmmakers and fans in a Q & A.
The Academy Award winning Boris FX team and creators of MOCHA VR showcased advanced post-production techniques using cinematic 360/VR moving shots from "Historic Treasures of the National Parks," created with Gold Creek VR's custom motion control camera movement system. James joined the Mocha VR team at the Boris FX booth for an exciting presentation featuring the powerful planar tracking software Mocha VR.
ADOBE MAX 2016 - CINEMATIC 360/VR PRODUCTION PRESENTATION
James Markham Hall, Jr. was invited by innovative 360/VR software company Mettle to present
"Keys to Creating Great 360/VR Video" at Adobe Max 2016, demonstrating advanced compositing techniques from the series "Historic Treasures of the National Parks" utilizing the Skybox Studio Suite in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere.
His exciting presentation focused on providing solutions to common issues arising during cinematic 360/VR production including: tripod / camera support removal, shadow/light removal, adding 2D elements to a 360 environment and more.
AMERICAN GHOST TOWNS CHANNEL - SAMSUNG GEAR VR
In 2016 Samsung recognized Gold Creek VR's achievements in the world of high quality cinematic historical 360/VR production by featuring the "American Ghost Towns" series in it's own AMERICAN GHOST TOWNS CHANNEL on the Samsung VR app.
Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus is the leading mobile VR headset experience and Gold Creek VR is thrilled to engage in this content partnership with Samsung and Oculus who are powerful innovators in the VR arena.
NAB SHOW 2016 - METTLE 360/VR FILMMAKER SHOWCASE
James Markham Hall, Jr. was featured as guest speaker at METTLE'S VR FILMMAKER SHOWCASE during NAB SHOW 2016 where his presentation focused on advanced VR post-production techniques featuring Mettle's Skybox Studio in Adobe After effects as well as VR filmmaking tips.
Attendees were treated to a special behind the scenes look at some of the more challenging moving shots created utilizing Gold Creek VR's custom motion control movement system utilized in "American Ghost Towns" and "Historic Treasures of the National Parks."
VRLA SCHOOL 2016 - MIRADA, ADOBE, METTLE
Gold Creek VR proudly participated in the VRLA SCHOOL workshops in conjunction with the Guillermo Del Doro founded VFX studio Mirada, Adobe, VR Los Angeles and Mettle. James Markham Hall, Jr. shared the latest and greatest in VR post-production techniques featuring Mettle Skybox Studio for Adobe After Effects while showcasing examples from the award winning VR series "American Ghost Towns."
The workshop focused on an introduction to 360 video, covering the processes involved with capturing live action 360/VR content. Attendees were excited to learn shooting and editing techniques and applied their lessons to their own 360/VR creations on the spot. Several small groups spread out around the Village Workspaces in Los Angeles, creating short 360/VR scenes using prosumer 360 video cameras. James showcased a variety of 360 video post techniques such as adding graphics/text and compositing.
BEST LIVE ACTION EDUCATIONAL VR FILM - VRFEST 2016
"American Ghost Towns - Goldfield" was recognized as BEST EDUCATIONAL VR FILM at Virtual Reality Festival 2016 at Palms Casino Resort in LAS VEGAS. As VRFEST winners, James Hall and Ted Faye were invited to exhibit "American Ghost Towns" at a private VRFEST event held at the 2016 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL in Park City Utah.
Gold Creek VR created founder James Markham Hall, Jr. and Ted Faye applied their knowledge of desert history to produce their first VR series, “American Ghost Towns.” The series is has been featured in it's own channel on Samsung VR. Hall and Faye created this innovative Virtual Reality Series to explore America's past through the remnants of settlements and villages that have been left behind. The desolate, abandoned ruins of once busy banks, hotels and saloons dot the landscape of the old wild west. Host Ted Faye takes the viewer on a virtual tour of these once bustling towns, interviewing historians, residents and others who bring the people and places back to life.
