Produced Showtime’s number one rated feature sports documentary, IVERSON, on NBA All-Star, Allen Iverson, a project ten years in the making. Faye has received numerous awards for his films including the prestigious Remi Awards at Houston WorldFest. His background includes work on projects for PBS’ Nature, WQED’s Mojave Desert Project, History Channel’s “Death Valley Chronicles” and others. Most recently he produced a pilot to explore Los Angeles history in his series “History to Go.” He’s produced an independent series, “Weird Tales” and is currently co-producing and hosting a Virtual Reality Series, “American Ghost Towns”, featured on Samsung VR. CEO of Gold Creek Films and Co-Founder of Gold Creek VR, the company is advancing the cutting edge of media with virtual reality projects on the National Parks and other popular subjects.
JAMES MARKHAM HALL, JR.
James is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking and serves as a Director of Photography in the entertainment industry. James earned an Emmy nomination for his work on the A&E series “Intervention” and has been responsible for the cinematography of programming on all the major networks, recently working in both Alaska and the Yukon for Animal Planet and National Geographic as well as on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” James served as Cinematographer on IVERSON, the feature length documentary on NBA All-Star Allen Iverson now airing on Showtime. His passion for Stereo 3D led him to serve as camera operator and producer on "Turn and Burn" for Sony, IMAX and Discovery's 24/7 3D network 3NET. He also showcased his 3D skills capturing aerials and interviews at ECD Las Vegas with electronic music superstars such as Fatboy Slim for the IMAX 3D feature documentary "Under the Electric Sky." Additionally, James recently competed work on feature films for Netflix and Lifetime. He currently serves as Producer, Director, Cinematographer and Editor of the Gold Creek VR series "Historic Treasures of the National Parks," "Super Pups," and “American Ghost Towns," which has been featured in it's own channel on Samsung VR.
James' cinematography skills as well as his knowledge and enthusiasm for Stereo 3D, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality brings a level of expertise that is extremely rare and highly sought after in the entertainment industry. James recently collaborated with VRLA and Guillermo Del Toro's (The Shape of Water, Pacific Rim) company MIRADA to educate workshop attendees in the latest VR post-production techniques featuring Mettle Skybox Studio in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Additionally, James accepted invitations as guest speaker at METTLE'S VR FILMMAKER SHOWCASE during NAB SHOW 2016 and ADOBE MAX 2016 where his presentations focused on creating cinematic 360/VR experiences, post-production techniques featuring Mettle's Skybox Studio as well as VR filmmaking tips. At NAB 2017 James was invited by Mettle to present on the Main Stage in the AR/VR Pavilion, presented by Dell. Additionally James Markham Hall, Jr. joined the Mocha VR team at the Boris FX booth for an exciting presentation featuring the powerful planar tracking software Mocha VR at NAB SHOW 2017. In 2018 James was invited to NAB SHOW for the third year in a row, showcasing Cinematography for 360/VR and advanced post-production techniques during Post Production World.
